LS211 already contains the velocities of several common metallic (such as iron, copper, aluminum) and non-metallic materials (plastics, ceramics, plexiglass) as well as other objects and the user are not required to find them separately
Sound velocity can be measured according to thickness
The tester can reverse the sound velocity of the material based on the known thickness and measurement results. And the instrument can test irregular materials of the same components as the materail whose thickness can be measured

With a wide mesuring range of material, the LS211 can detect materials from as thin as 0.8 mm to 600 mm. Its resolution can reach to 0.001mm when measuring the objects 0.8mm-10mm
